Overview
The Rookie division is where everything starts. Players are generally 4 and 5 years old, typically in pre-K or kindergarten, and must be 4 by January 1st. The focus is on introducing softball and building basic skills through fun drills and games, using a 10 inch safety ball with a mix of batting tees and coach pitch. There are no practices in this division: Saturday is the whole commitment, which makes it an easy first season for a family testing the water.

Schedule
Saturdays at 1pm at Sterling Field, late April through mid-June. No practices.
